illegal ("the Bot") is a Discord bot operated by illegal.rest. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By adding or using the Bot, you agree to this policy.

The Bot collects and temporarily processes the following data solely to provide its features:

• Discord user IDs, server IDs, and voice channel IDs, to manage commands and voice channel ownership.
• Command input text, to process and respond to bot commands in real time.
• Server settings, such as prefix preferences and volume defaults, stored per-server.

• We do not collect message content outside of direct bot commands.
• We do not store personal information such as usernames, email addresses, or IP addresses.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties.

Server configuration data is retained while the Bot is active in your server. When the Bot is removed, associated data is deleted within 30 days. Temporary runtime data such as queue state is not persisted and is lost on restart.

The Bot may retrieve audio streams from third-party platforms such as YouTube or Spotify in response to user commands. We are not responsible for the data practices of those platforms.

The Bot is intended for use on Discord, which requires users to be at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Bot after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
